2021 – 2025
This project explores the complex, sometimes conflicting relationship humans have with natural environments. Through a palette dominated by red, green, and blue, each painting reflects our tensions and contradictions, as well as our hopes. Red, the color of blood and vitality, dialogues with green, symbolizing a nature that we shape or jeopardize. Blue appears as a call for wisdom and calm, a promise of harmony regained with our planet.
By juxtaposing these colors, I aim to reveal a deep imbalance, but also the possibility of a path toward equilibrium. This work invites a reconsideration of our connection to the living world. If we can restore a chromatic balance, a metaphor for ecological and emotional balance, then harmony may perhaps emerge. The project thus becomes a quest, a visual and sensitive reflection on the place we wish to occupy within the living world.
